Writing Resources:
- Duotrope is a fantastic resource for finding markets. They mail me a weekly digest that has really got the ball rolling as far as writing to specific topics/deadlines.
- Absolute Write’s Water Cooler is message board gold- so much help here.
- Predators and Editors is good for putting the mind at ease.
- On Reddit, you can find r/books and r/writing.
- Ralan, another great writing markets site.
Other miscellaneous sites:
- imgur is my favourite image host.
- TED has fantastic talks on every subject- I’ve learned so much from watching these.
- The SCP Foundation: Secure, Contain, Protect- great stories here.
- The Age of Persuasion, a CBC podcast all about advertising.
- White Coat, Black Art, a CBC podcast all about medicine.

Hi! This is going to be a little weird, but I purchased a set of Wild Gears from your husband at Got Craft this December.
